Peer Tutoring Program

The Academic Success Center peer tutors provide academic support to CIU students through one-on-one or group face-to-face sessions or online appointments. Tutoring services are offered during the fall and spring semesters with the occasional summer support. Peer tutors are trained to help students with specific courses, such as writing, math, and other content areas. Peers tutors and faculty recommend future tutors. They participate in training sponsored by the Academic Success Center and certified by ITTPC (International Tutor Training Program Certification).
