You can opt into CIU Alert, the CIU emergency alert system, and receive emergency information as text messages on your cell phone or as email. **Note: Your CIU Alert account will expire every two years. You will have to re-sign up to continue to receive notices.

You can change your notification settings for the CIU emergency alert system by logging into CIU Alert.
To add an email address or change your phone number, use the Services tab after logging into CIU Alert.
To change your choice to receive school closing notifications use the Groups tab.
