The CIU IT Helpdesk, located in our main location in the Library, as well as a secondary location in the Business and IT Center at the front of campus, is here to provide you with tools that will assist you in getting the most out of our technology at CIU. We are the primary support desk for student technology issues. We hope you find these resources and services helpful and accessible. Student ID Cards
All ID cards are made by the Helpdesk, and are used to access the dorms and printers. Students also use them to sign into chapel, eat at the dining facility as well as other various uses around campus.
Students will receive their first ID card during check-in, but can visit the IT Helpdesk anytime it is open to receive an initial or replacement card if necessary.
The first ID card is free of charge, but all subsequent ID cards due to damage or loss will be charged to the student at $10 per card. You will not be assessed a fee if your card malfunctions outside of your control. If you lose your card, please see the Helpdesk immediately so that we can prevent someone from using your card and accessing the dorms.
