Job Summary

We are seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary pediatric team . The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive integration of health services, including psychotherapy, clinical assessments, and case management, to diverse patient populations. This role involves working with individuals age 0-21 and their families to provide risk stratified supports. Two office locations (DT and Irmo) - time will be split between the two

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations using medical terminology and ICD coding as appropriate.
  • Provide individual, group, and family counseling utilizing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and crisis intervention.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans incorporating psychotherapy techniques like motivational interviewing and specialized care such as Alzheimer's care or autism spectrum disorder interventions.
  • Manage case coordination including intake procedures, treatment progress documentation in EMR systems, and adherence to HIPAA regulations.
  • Deliver specialized services for populations with developmental disabilities, autiCollaborate with healthcare teams on patient care plans involving medical records review and medical terminology understanding.sm, PTSD, addiction issues, and special education needs.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams on patient care plans involving medical records review and medical terminology understanding. Engage in clinical research activities related to behavioral health or mental health counseling to support evidence-based practice improvements.

  • Maintain professional development through ongoing education in areas such as psychopharmacology, CPT coding, ICD-10/ICD-9 coding systems, and working with people with disabilities.

Requirements

  • Valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Psychologist.
  • Proven experience in psychotherapy, mental health counseling, or clinical psychology.
  • Document and report data required.
  • Strong knowledge of behavioral health modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, group therapy, etc
  • Experience working with children & family counseling, individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder.
  • Familiarity with local resources available
  • Experience with case management
  • Familiarity with EMR systems and medical documentation standards compliant with HIPAA regulations.
  • Ability to perform patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations using ICD coding systems (ICD-10/ICD-9).
  • Strong communication skills for working with diverse populations including pediatrics and patients with special needs.

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
