Position Title: Lead Pastor
Position Summary
Clinton Corners Evangelical Free Church is seeking a full-time Lead Pastor to provide biblical leadership and shepherd the congregation. Following a church-wide assessment and a season under an Interim Pastor, the church is prayerfully seeking a pastor who will lead the congregation in spiritual growth, discipleship, and ministry.
Description
Clinton Corners Evangelical Free Church is a rural church with an affiliated Christian School serving students from Kindergarten through 12th grade. After completing a thorough church-wide assessment and serving under the leadership of an Interim Pastor, the church is actively searching for its next Lead Pastor. The successful candidate will provide spiritual leadership, shepherd the congregation, and help guide the church into its next season of ministry.
Responsibilities
• Preach and teach God’s Word faithfully.
• Provide spiritual leadership and pastoral care for the congregation.
• Shepherd, disciple, and mentor members of the church.
• Equip and support ministry leaders and volunteers.
• Lead the church in fulfilling its mission and vision.
• Work collaboratively with church leadership and staff.
• Encourage outreach, discipleship, and community engagement.
Qualifications
• A demonstrated calling to pastoral ministry.
• Strong biblical preaching and teaching abilities.
• Commitment to servant leadership and discipleship.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to shepherd and lead a congregation effectively.
