Position Summary

Heritage Christian Academy is seeking a dedicated First Grade Teacher to provide high-quality foundational instruction in a Christ-centered learning environment. The ideal candidate will integrate biblical principles into daily teaching while fostering both academic excellence and spiritual growth. 

Description

The First Grade Teacher is responsible for providing foundational academic instruction to first-grade students while integrating biblical principles throughout the curriculum. This individual will encourage students’ academic, spiritual, and personal development by modeling Christ-like behavior and creating a positive, engaging classroom environment. 

Responsibilities

• Provide foundational academic instruction for first-grade students.
• Develop and implement engaging daily lesson plans.
• Integrate biblical principles into classroom instruction.
• Foster students’ academic, spiritual, and personal growth.
• Assess and monitor student progress.
