Job Summary

Stephen Greene Baptist Church in Winnsboro, SC is seeking a Part-Time Minister of Music to plan, lead,and support a Christ-centered music and worship ministry for a multi-generational and diverse congregation. This role works closely with the Pastor and church leadership to create meaningful worship that honors tradition while encouraging congregational participation.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and lead music for weekly worship services
• Select theologically sound and accessible music
• Lead rehearsals and direct a small choir as needed
• Coordinate music for special services (e.g., Christmas, Easter)
• Manage music ministry resources, budget, and CCLI compliance

Qualifications

• Professing Christian in alignment with the Southern Baptist Faith & Message (2000)
• Strong piano skills and ability to lead congregational singings
• Familiarity with traditional hymns and varied worship styles
• Servant-hearted, dependable, organized, and collaborative
• Comfortable serving in a small-church environment

Time Commitment

• Part-time: approximately 10–15 hours per week, including Sundays and special services

Compensation

• Annual salary range: $12,500–$15,500, commensurate with experience
