No setup is required in Jenzabar EX to support this portlet.
Configuration settings in JICS can be done by roles with permission to access and administer global and portlet settings.

These settings can be done by the Student Administrator and/or Advisor Administrator, depending on which role you want to do the setup. These settings will be applied to all instances (copies) of the portlet, regardless of the portlet page on which the portlet is located.
1. Log in as the JICS administrator.
2. From the My Advisor Meetings portlet, click the Setup option.
3. The Portal Settings page appears.
4. Select the Show Notes to Students check box if you wish to allow students to view the notes from advisor meetings. If you do not select this check box, notes will not be displayed to students.
Jenzabar recommends that you select this check box. Under FERPA rules, a student has the right to see anything in their academic record, which includes advisor notes.
5. Click the Save button.
